Innovation and financial education serving millions

Mobills is a Brazilian technology company that was founded in 2013 with the purpose of delivering smarter financial solutions to people. The inspiration for the company's name came from the combination of the English words “Mobile” and “Bills,” reflecting its focus on financial education and practicality. Mobills' most popular content includes calculators, simulators, and apps that assist users with their financial lives due to their relevance and ease of use.

With a target audience of Brazilians at the beginning of their financial journey, Mobills has seen remarkable growth throughout its history, reaching a user base of 12 million across its platform. This growth has also helped Mobills expand its business, which is now part of Grupo Toro Investimentos, as well as its team, which comprises 80 people dedicated to various areas.

To make the most of this growth, Mobills turned to Google AdMob — which has quickly become the main tool it uses to manage ads in its apps.

“The partnership with Google allows us to diversify our revenue, monetize our user base, and generate more conversions.”

How Google AdMob helped drive Mobills' growth

“We chose AdMob for its user-friendly management tools (dashboards, reports, etc.), diverse mobile ad formats, and reliable inventory and advertiser network,” says Igor Ronner, Product Director at Mobills. “These features made it an ideal choice for our mobile advertising needs.”

“The partnership with Google allows us to diversify our revenue, monetize our user base, and generate more conversions,” said Ronner.

“We have long time customers, and the best interactions are when we receive feedback from them saying that they've managed to get out of debt, realized dreams such as owning a home, and started to invest to achieve financial freedom.”

In addition to monetization products like Google AdMob, Ad Manager, and AdSense, Mobills also uses other Google tools to support its business, including Analytics for analyzing product interactions as well as blog access and conversions, Firebase for product development and maintenance, and Play Billing for app subscriptions.
